About Stephen Koinis

I admit to being a bit of a tax nerd and have a strong passion for helping others achieve financial independence.  After graduating from Northern Michigan University with a dual major in accounting and finance, I worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in their audit and attestation practice before taking on various technical accounting and controllership roles within large publicly traded companies in the metro Detroit area.   During this time, I worked with friends, family and a handful of other clients to alleviate their fear of - and frustration with - taxes by helping reduce their tax burden, plan effectively for retirement and prepare their income tax returns.  

As a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan, I can do more for you at an affordable and competitive price.  I thoroughly enjoy the process of growing my business, supporting small business owners and helping make sense of tax complexities for potential clients!
